Time Slot Manager is very useful. Using Time Slot Manager you can extend a customer’s time without having the customer log out. Time Slot Manager can be used to determine how many computer stations are available
When a customer gets a 5 minute log out warning they can ask to have their time extended on the computer station they are currently working.
You will need the number of the computer station
Select Time Slot Manager
Select Bookings, and then select Time Slot Manager
Choose a workstation
Select search
Click on the underlined time highlighted in pink
Select Extend
Enter the time extension in minutes
You will get a notification the time was extended.
Time Slot Manager can also be used to determine how many public computer workstations are available.
In Time slot search do not enter any work station number just select Search.
You will be able to view the public computers that are currently available and the public computer that will be coming available soon. Green indicates the workstation is available.
