- For titles published by the Ulverscroft Group use the publishing statement found on the title page, e.g. Charnwood, Linford, etc. According to RDA, use "the preferred source of information," for books, the same place as the source of the title proper. Use "Publisher not identified" if the name of the publisher is not given on the preferred source, elsewhere in the resource or from other external sources; a publisher's name from a non-preferred source should be recorded in square brackets.
- For titles with parent publisher Gale, Cengage Learning (these items <c2010- > have in common a title page with imprint information directly below title, e.g. Thorndike Press, a part of Gale, Cengage Learning, and then more publishing information at bottom of t.p.: “Gale, Cengage Learning” followed by place of publication information “Detroit, New York, San Francisco, New Haven, Conn., Waterville, Maine, London”), use the entire statement that is below the title as 260 |b, and use first named place, Detroit, as 260 |a e.g.
260 |aDetroit :|bThorndike Press, a part of Gale, Cengage Learning,|cc2010.
- Vendor-supplied records which list the parent publisher in the 260 are accepted as is.

- Add (large print) to all records.
- Do not follow option in RDA.

- Large print adult fiction genres correspond to those for the regular print collection; see Fiction, 500 Genres.
490/830 Series Information
- Record additional series statements as found on the book, e.g. 490 and 830 Linford romance library. Ulverscroft Large Print (found on back covers) is not a series statement and can be ignored.

Large print vs. Slightly larger print/Enlarged print/Large easy-to-read print vs. Larger print
- “Slightly larger print” / “enlarged print” / “Large easy-to read print”: A new title record is required with a quoted 500 note (e.g. “Slightly larger print”—Cover) but do not use “large print” format for the record. Do not add as a pseudo-dup to either a regular print or a large print title record.
- “Larger print”: A new title record is required, using “large print” format, i.e. f.f. Repr: d; 099 Large Print + Cutter ; 245 |aTitle|h[large print] ; 300 |a123 p. (large print). A “larger print” copy can be added as a pseudo-dup to a Large Print title record.
- Exception: Paperbacks designated by the publisher (e.g. Harlequin) as “larger print” (data appears in a quoted note) do not usually have large enough print to be considered “Large Print” for cataloguing purposes. To be considered Large Print, the type is normally 15.5 or 16 points.
