Used to cancel or delete a hold on a specific item, often when the customer has called and let you know they no longer need/want the item you are now holding for them.
To remove a hold on an item:
- On the Holds toolbar, select the Remove Item Hold wizard.
- Scan the item barcode, or enter the Item ID and click Get Item Information, or choose current if applicable. The holds now appear:
Choose which holds to remove:
- To remove all hold select the Select All check box.
- Or, select the Remove check boxes in front of the holds you want to remove.
Select Remove Holds.
Select Close to exit this window, or select Remove Holds for Another Item to continue.
