The below instructions may also be used if we receive notification that a customer no longer lives at an address (ie. a customer phones in and states that they are receiving mail for someone who does not live at their address).
All notices printed by the system (hold notifications, overdue reminders and new billings) are returned to Milner Library if undeliverable.
NOTE: do NOT change the PIN on these cards. When the customer reinstates their card, they expect to have the same PIN as before. Changing the PIN can disrupt a customer's ability to manage their account online.
Select Modify User.
Change the User status to BARRED.
Choose the Address folder and blank the Postal Code.
Choose the Extended Information folder.
RETURNMAIL field: Enter YES.
Select Modify User.
Select Close.
