It is essential that staff replace the customer barcode number in Library Online when issuing a replacement card for a LOST card in Workflows. By replacing the card number we carry the debit or credit amount on the old card to the new card.
1. Select Patrons. Select Change Barcode Number
2. Enter the old barcode number in the search screen. Select Search.
3. Select Change Barcode Number
Note: If the customer has never used Library Online you will not be able to find the old barcode to replace.
4. Enter the new barcode number. Select Save Changes
5. You will be prompted to confirm if the new barcode number is correct. If the barcode number is correct, select Ok.
6. You will receive Save changes was successful message.
