Me Library - renewing and updating an account (including card replacements)

Updating a Me Library account is easy! First, the customer account needs to be updated in the home library system's ILS (customer database).

For an EPL customer:

  • Make any necessary account changes (ie. update the address and renew the card) in Workflows.
  • With the customer, log into the melibraries.ca site.

  • Ask the customer to agree to share their displayed information with the other Me Libraries.

  • Click the "Update" button for all applicable libraries.

For a non-EPL customer:

  • The customer's account must already be updated in their home library system. If it hasn't been, you may show the customer how they can update their account with the other Me Libraries after their information is updated at the home library.
  • With the customer, log into the melibraries.ca site.

 

  • Ask the customer to agree to share their displayed information with the other Me Libraries.

  • Click the "Update" button for all applicable libraries.
