Extend an available hold on your holds shelf

Customer has requested that you save his/her hold for an additional couple of days:

NOTE: staff can only extend the hold by 2 days.  Circumstances beyond the customer's control are the exception.  

  • Locate the item on the Hold shelf.
  • In Modify Holds for User, check title to be modified.

  • Choose Modify and using the calendar gadget, choose a new Pickup by date.
  • Click OK, the new date will appear in the User’s holds list.
  • Scan the item using Trap holds wizard.
  • Label with/insert auto generated hold slip and shelve.
